PHARES Kick-Off Meeting Successfully Held in Brussels

The PHARES project officially started with its kick-off meeting, which took place at the CAJU offices in Brussels on 21–22 January 2026.

The two-day meeting marked an important milestone for the consortium, bringing together all partners to align on the project’s objectives, structure, and next steps.

The event was organised jointly with the other UERA-funded projects OSYRYS, HERACLES, and DEMETRA, fostering early synergies and exchange across the four initiatives. In addition to shared technical sessions, the projects also enjoyed a joint networking evening on 21 January in central Brussels, providing an excellent opportunity for informal discussions and collaboration among partners.

Furthermore, CAJU delivered a set of horizontal presentations during a joint session for all four projects, held on Tuesday afternoon, 20 January 2026. These sessions provided valuable context and common guidance relevant to all UERA projects.

The kick-off meeting laid a solid foundation for the successful implementation of PHARES and reinforced strong collaboration within the consortium and across the wider UERA project community.
